question for good growers

all i want to know is, can you grow plants right next to each side by side leaveing a 4inch gap in between each plant if so would it affect the yeild.

all my lil ones are female and female only male free... no i cant grow next to each other or no it wont effect the yeild?? thanks for quick reply

It depends how big you plan to grow them, and how deep this container is... or is it outdoors?

its indoor. after blooming my plants they reach about 4-5 ft tall the hight of my room is 10 ft and 3ft wide and depth is about 129" long

i've got mine damn near on top of each other you cant see the floor from above. but i have no anwser to your qestion. i'd also like to hear the anwser tho

as may that fit or as much light as you got they like to grow together
just make shure you got the light for amount of plants

Itr all depends on the amount of light your going to use. Basically the question you need to be asking yourself is how close can I keep my plants and allow light to penetrate the canopy still? It's all preference. If your worried about it being too condensed you can lollipop them and allow for your colas to be come massive.

ill be useing 2 400 watt hps lights useing 2 600 watter would be to much for the room and to hot so i can grow then wth them right next to each other which is alll good

i aint worried like i just wasnt sure if you could grow them next to each other. thougt ill ask 1st before doingit

a 400w wont penatrate thought the canopy very much. so dont expect much fromthe bottom half of your plants

thats why i am useing 2 but useing to 600 will fry them to death im growing in there now but i want more in there next time around. useing anything over 800watts will kill them trust ive tryed.lol.

i would think it would be fine, would make one hell of a canopy tho. tough for light penetration, like he said, it will be fine for the tops but you better not try to lst or top or anything like that. i have seen multiple rockwool grow tables just packed to the gills with rockwool right next to eachother, thats 4inch rockwool cubes. half is 2 2 halfs right next to eachother thats 4 inches... so i realy dont see how it wouldnt work. just dont grow them out to be monsters. the way i see it, you could either grow a few big plants in there, or keep a bunch of smaller ones in there and dont let them get 5 feet tall. i would flower after 25 days veging so they dont crowde eachother tooooo much. just make sure you have a fan blowing on them so you can get more fresh air to all of them.

im thinking of getting a 600 watt hps light and a 200 watter ive got to keep it at 800watts but i need 2 lights for the plant the room is very narrow you see. i know the plants will be better under the 600 and they will not so good under the 200. but what would you do?

stick with the 2 400w man, thats the best most even lighting, and they will do about the same, better with 2 400w than a 600 and a 200, more even lighting, bigger footprint, more efficient.
