Male plants don't produce seeds, they produce pollen...when a grain of pollen hits a receptive pistil on a female plant, that pistil creates a seed within the calyx...
If you want to breed, instead of pollen chucking(male plant + female plant = seeds), you're gonna need to master cloning as well. You ideally want to start with two plants that have qualities you would like to isolate, one male and one female(lets say a stinky male with visible trichomes + a female with pink pistils, for example)
Take clones off the female...Let the male pollinate the female clone, then take the resulting seeds and grow like 20-50 of them...Take the stinkiest male with the most trichomes out of those seeds you grew, breed that with the ORIGINAL female...
Then take
those resulting seeds, grow 20-50 of 'em, and take the stinkiest female with pink pistils, pollinate her with the ORIGINAL male and you MIGHT have something that resembles stable genetics...
At least thats my understanding. I could be totally wrong, and maybe I have no idea what I'm talking about...Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
