How long you veg is determined by the size of the plant.
I veg for 4 weeks.

@MickFoster @HydoDan so if I can veg 5weeks I should be in a safe place to at least harvest 2oz each under 600w hps veg 660 hps flower till end Scrogging and a little lst

You want bigger pots than that .
6 plants.. try 3 gallon , 4-5 week veg.. depends on the starting size of the clone too.
Probably not going to get 24oz out of a 4x4 with a 600hps though.
It's not impossible but your posts says your not experienced enough to hit that yet.

My bad I’m using 17L pots it was 5gallon

How big do you want it ? I'd say a bare minimum of three months. Also , keep in mind that it's a function of container size. My last crop , I vegged for about five months.

I have never vegged longer than 5 weeks and consistently yield 4-5 oz. per plant.

I'm very f'ing impressed , no shit ! I can't wrap my old head around that ! I would think that the plants have hardly matured at all . I " missed the boat " on that . How the hell....what the f.......you got me scratching my slowly balding head !

I'm right there with you. Took me a couple years to undutch Sensi's Northern Lights, by stretching out the veg to almost 6 months at first.
I don't push my plants to produce the maximum amount of buds in a minimalist period of time. I'm more concerned with the quality of the high than how fast I can produce it.

the longer you veg the bigger the plant, most ive grown have doubled or tripled their size in flower
your going to lose the bottom branches in flower, i typically chop emioff, they end up producing larfy buds,
the bigger the plant the more it will produce tho so like others have said 4-6 weeks typically.
