Ok I believe I now have enough cfls for veg

Tomorrow will be hooking up two 65watt cfl along with 4-6 27watts (6500k)

Should be enough lumens for veg

Now my question is I am getting ready to purchase some 2700k cfls

I would like to get the highest wattage going

I saw on ebay they have a 250watt 2700k bulb for about 100 dollars.

However that seems to pricey for me.

So my question is what is the highest 2700k cfl that I can get.

Keep in mind that I am limited with space and am growing 4 plants.

I will post some pics of the new setup of my grow box with the extra lights that I just got.

55 watt CFLs @ 15.55 x 6 = $93.30+s&h(probably double this, too).. versus.. three 105 watt CFLs would be $81.54+s&h... 21,600(~130 cubic inches/bulb*) vs 18,600 lumens from (~102 cubic inches/bulb*)... from what I understand 5000K bulbs can be used for the entire grow. And the 105 bulb is more efficient for its size*.

I also think that globe-shape bulb would be awful to find/make a reflector for. Cone reflectors suck. The best reflector is a flat surface with no greater than ~45 degree overhangs. The smaller diameter also works to your favor as there's less light trapped between the reflector and bulb.

*As perfect cylinders

Just my two cents.

5500 can be used throughout the entire grow-same as lower 2700 can be used throughout. its just you want more lights with less k during flowering
