Question on inside grow!

Background/ Question : Swim doesnt have a large grow area. Swim will use a pc box about 21" tall and 8 1/2" wide. Any ways, If swim uses something to weigh the plant down, will it just grow sideways, or will it not grow at all? Swim would like it to grow as much as possible, weither thats up or sideways. or both. but still controlled

Swim sees how that can be confusing haha. Well swim has limited space, so swim will use something to prevent the plants from growing upward. If that happens, will the same growth just go sideways, or maybe grow outward? And when flowering hits, will the plants grow as much as they would normally, except sideways?

bump. still looking for info. Maybe its called SCROG? i mean idk. Swim just wants to control the plant from growing to tall and filling the pc box to early. help!

FWIW, plants grow. A plant with slow growth is generally not a healthy plant. You can keep plants small and compact by LST, pinch supercropping, topping, Sea of Green or Screen of Green. The latter is probably what you want to look into, a SCROG would be ideal for the tiny little space you're talking about. Do a search and read, read, read. Then read some more.

well thx for the help. SWIM is very well known internet term. Maybe rollitup is just not familiar with it. People say SWIM incase the po-po is watching.

Get over the paranoia, it'll only slow you down. There are WAY too many of us doing this online for anyone to watch us all. Besides, only RIU can give up your IP addy, and then only for a warrant.

its like wearing a condom, better safe than sorry. I mean sure most woman you bang wont have aids, but what about when that one late night happens?
But back the subject. i do appreciate any info. I seen many pictures where people hold the plant down with a string kinda thing. it looks like something semi strong preventing the plant from growing upward to quick.

yup, LST is what "SWIM" wants if "he" is growing only one plant. if its more than SCROG. I did an LST on one of my plants, first timer. its realy easy. check out the thread in sig.
