Question on Topping/femm

I recently ordered Swiss cheese, Chrystal, Blackjack, and Jock Horror from the Nivana seed bank. I was wondering if topping any of the strains would increase the yeilds, If so what strains should I top. I have the basic idea on how to top but was wondering if anyone could tell me step by step, it would be a big help.....And Ill be sure to post pics if I can get some good plants growing. :leaf:

Topping and femming should definitely increase yield cuz when u top you are producing up to four main colas. I havent had much luck fimming so I havent been doing it. Not cuz it doesnt help, cuz im sure it does... i just dont know enough about it. There are some really good threads on topping and fimming with step by step instructions. try the search. Im also growing swiss cheese. they are lookin awesome so far! about 2 weeks vegging. Check out my journal. the link is below...

Why only four colas? Be more generous. Make it 8! lol. It all depends how many times you top your plant.

I started super cropping my plants recently. Now I have heaps of main colas on my plants and they are budding like crazy. If you haven't, check out Uncle Ben's thread on Topping for Two or Four Colas. It's stickied in the advanced section. I haven't grown any of the strains you've listed, but usually, if a strain doesn't do well being topped, the breeder will list it - like Chronic, for instance. Check your breeder's listing for the strain first.
