Question on trichomes and timing of harvest

I'm wondering if my calculations are correct. The strain is Querkle, with an expected 56 day flowering time. Outdoors, in organic soil, no pot.

I noted on the calendar the day the first flowers appeared - not the pre-sex ones. According to that count, I'm on day 43, 13 to go. The pistil tips are just starting to turn color from white to red.

I've been checking the trichomes and I see that most are clear - though looking at the tops of ones on the leaves is tough, they almost seem milky. But all the ones I can view sideways are clear. Except I see a smattering of amber ones. Maybe 1-2%, just here and there. Always just a loner surrounded by clear ones. Is that normal?

On one hand, from what I've read on pistils changing color, plus lack of any calyx swelling, I'm starting to think I may be more than 13 days out. On the other hand, the amber trichomes make me think that could be correct.

Are my calculations in the ballpark, or should I revise them?
