Question Regarding Mixing Nutrients for Soil Plants

So I have the Technaflora Plants, "Recipe for Success" starter kit, the directions say to mix the nutrients for every 1 gallon (4 litres) of water. The mixing chart can be found on the link below. Help with the following questions would be greatly appreciated.

-Do I give my plants the nutrients daily or once weekly?

-Is it okay to pour the nutrient water into the plant all at once? or is it preferred to do periodically throughout the day?

-It says on the mixing chart "For soil mediums use the formula in the sequence of FEED, WATER, WATER throughout the vegetative and flowering cycle". I don't understand what this means exactly? Anyone understand what they mean by this?

-It also says "Always add boost first". Now does that mean, add boost first to the water, or to do Boost as the first nutrient and therefore be adding all of these nutrients separately to the plant?
