Question Regarding T-5 Light for Flowering

I got a 12 bulb t-5 light 4 footer, im goin to be using the light for flowering....should i use all 2,700k bulbs or could i use a few 6,700 also ..what would be my best combanation of bulbs to use....all 2,700k ?????


Also how far does the light need to be away from my plants using a 12 bulb 4 foot lamp

Mix them, 1 6700k for every 3 2700k.

The beauty of T5's is that you can keep them within inches of your canopy. As long as you have proper ventilation in your room I would put them directly at the top and adjust when necessary. Just keep in mind that they can grow into the bulbs over night, I've had it happen before.

I'm a T5 user as well. Check out the LEDs without LED...." thread in the "Indoor Gardening" forum for some awesome info on bulbs.
