i got a 400 watt hps how many plants can that cover?

If you go by 50w per square foot , thats 8 square foot depending on how you grow . If you do a SOG then thats 8 plants . Hope this helps you out.

I keep 4-5 under my 400htg

can anyone recomend a good dehumidifier for a 8x4 grow tent. humidity is getting into the high 50z unless i run the ac. i got a small dehumidifier (portilble kind) but it didnt lower the humidity, it actually climbed. the spec on the dehumidifier say it remove approx 650ml every 24hrs @86f w/80 percent rh. but after 30 hrs on nonstop there was maybe a teaspoon of water in the res and the humidity in the 50z. any suggestions appreciated.
