Question

This is my 3rd grow I have a 440 hps 2 100 watts cfl 1 300 watt cfl in a 6x7x6 indoor room. I've found the seeds I'm going to get off the internet, but have some questions bout what kind of soil to use. Since the last two have been reg seeds I've used mg, but since im getting good seeds I need to know what to use for them. Thanks for any help

Do not use miracle grow it will more likely then not burn ypur plants if not mixed in anything. I use fox farm organic soils and they work great!

Take your pick man, there's plenty of options. Just use a high quality soil made for mj growing. I've personally used biobizz light mix since I started and have no complaints. I am possibly going to switch to roots organics when I run out since the Biobizz is harder to get locally.

MG potting mixes can be problematic because they have time release nutes and poor drainage. You can create a nice, light and well-drained soil with 50-60% peat, 20-25% Kellogg Patio Plus outdoor potting mix (Home Depot, Lowes), 20-25% perlite. Add 1.5 tbsp powdered dolomite (Fertilome Hi-Yield Agricultural Lime) per gallon of soil.

Inexpensive and you can adjust the ratios to get more or less drainage.

I love Fox Farm Ocean Forest.. Using it now and have absolutely no complaints. Has enough nutrients in it for at least three weeks. More like a month in my opinion. Its about 20-25 dollars a bag at really any garden store. FFOF is highly recommended

what are you feeding? i hear the light mix is well, a bit light lol. only good for seedlings and cuttings running out of charge almost instantly

I use the full arsenal of BioBizz nutes. Start out with half dosage of bio-grow about 3-4 weeks in and add from there.
