So last night i put my germinated seeds into soil. Im growing Dr.greenthumbs Iranian autoflower and i planted them to the instructions that came with them.
it said to plant germinated seeds making sure end of seed and taproot is pointing up. then cover with 1/2 of media.

My question is i have never done this before ive always put the taproot facing down, anyone else ever plant seeds from germination like this? with succes?

oh word man your a life saver!!!
never thought that the roots grows up before it grows down????? guess ive been wrong all along
Thanks bro! +rep

i got that same card thingy the dr sends with all of his seeds a few times, but i never paid much attention to the tip pointing up part and just did mine with them pointing down like i always did..

I'd say the taproot should always be placed in the soil with the embryotic sucker leaves pointing up out of the soil... Usually seeds germinated in soil will naturally "correct themselves" as far as which end will go in which direction... Root down, leaves up.... But, I'm sure this goes without saying... Just my lil 2 cents, for whatever itz worth... Good luck with the autos... I havent had the pleasure of trying an auto out yet, but, I'd definately give it a shot if I can ever come by any seeds, as my state is not a medical state- just yet... ;-)

doesnt really make sense to me to plant it pointy side up, but hey i dont have a sweet visual to support that!

and thankks ganjagod they arent true autos just extremly sensitive to light regiments, you veg em under 24hrs of light then the transition of going outdoors and down to under 18hrs of light causes em to flower! 4-8oz yields by 4th of july though!
