Questions about 12/12

ok, well a couple more questions have come up. Hopefully they are a better and more thought provoking . I was reading some litureature and i found that you can skip alot of the veg and just go to the flowering state if you 12/12 it. This seems like a good option so that i can get a harvest faster but what would the downsize of this be? I would like to keep the plants small so it makes more sense to do this earlier and send it straight to flowering. Also the site is a bit of a walk into a secluded area just for privacies sake.

So is there a way to do the 12/12 without having to go there everyday and set it up?

Does it always need to be 12/12 or after like 2 weeks can you just stop and the plant will continue to bud etc?....

Also for the 12/12 could it be more darkness than light? like 18 dark 6 light? or does this hamper the growing and bud production too much?

Down size would be less yield. And yes it has to be 12/12 for entire flower cycle. Any change would stress plant and probably send her back to veg state. I've heard of people doing more dark than lifgt, but not sure of outcome.

Do you know how much darkness is needed to send the Low Ryders 2 seeds into flowering. I want to even grow some this season. I'm in the upper midwest so i feel there is still enough time for this strain. They sound mighty sexy. Any info will help. Also anyone tried this legal bud stuff...?

not true

outdoors, since the daylight is naturally growing shorter every day after the solstice, plants will flower automatically near the end of summer. that being said, if you force a 12/12 for a week or two early, and it's after the summer solstice, you can stop forcing without stressing the plants. they will continue to flower using natural light cycles.
