Questions about drying

So I’m on day nine. The smaller branches are popping when I bend them but the larger ones are not smoked one of the buds from the smaller branch and it burned just fine. Do I cut the smaller branches off of the plant hanging upside down or do I leave it on and wait till the large branches are popping also, when I bend them what to do, please help. I am a newbie. Please help want to start curing but not too soon.

I cut all my branches off the main stem and hang them separately. As soon as they feel dry on the outside I jar them. Someone in another thread said don't wait till the branches snap. If the bud feels dry on the outside jar them and open the jar everyday. Like open at 9AM and close at 9PM. 12 hours closed 12 hours open.
