Questions about rooting hormone

Hi guys. Does anyone know if its a good idea to put a little rooting hormone in when you plant your germinated seed?

Or to soak your seeds in water with rooting hormone while they germinate?

If so... What kind of rooting hormone would you recommend and what is the best way to use it?

NO WAY DUDE.. I soaked all my rockwool cubes in rooting hormone that was PHd and I had a crappy start. Out of 25 top quality seeds, I only gor 4 to grow. The 4 I had were/are stunted and are still on the first set of leaves and its been 23 days. I though using superthrive would help so I tried that, but they turned yellow, so Im assuming the hormone in the superthrive was overdoing it.

From what I have read, its best to use superthrive once the seed has broken soil or the meduim. I would not soak in hormones bud

My personal rule of thumb is to try and replicate all of the equatorial region's natural climate in my grow room. Naturally, that excludes the idea of using rooting hormone and even my cuttings seem to create roots pretty fast without it. To reiterate the point made by the two other gentlemen, I certainly wouldn't use such a thing with a fragile seed.
