Questions about seedlings

I have the seedlings under T5's and in my bud chamber i have a 500w high pressure sodium. Should i just throw my seedlings in the the bud chamber during the day and put them back under the T5s at night? Is it stressful to the plant? Will it promote bud density and growth? The seedlings are about 2 1/2 weeks old.

if you want to you csn but leave under the T5 just incase you forget. Seedlings can handle HID but if its a clone seedling they should be grown a bit first

also it would be good to get those seedlings a few hours of darkness

I would just hold off the hid for a few weeks. I start 400w mh light at about three weeks or did just went to a 600w. I start with a few hours a day and build up. I also use 24 hr light until flower time. Just the way I been doing it and seems to work ok.

500 watts is a bit much for seedlings , i start my seedling off under my hps ,but im using 250 watts .It does veg them really sweetly ,but from what ive read the t5s are enough.Btw contrary to popular belief ,plants do need a dark period.The roots grow the most in the dark period...more roots = fater growth +more yeild. but up to you ,i know alot of people are hell bent on 24/7 light... just like nature didnt intend

I start from seed right under a 600s MH and it works great for me! I just pull the light way back for the first week and then slowly move it close... Never been a problem! Don't have many grows under my belt though so who knows? Works great so far though!
