I am moving up in tent size from a 2x2.5 to a 3x3. In the past, a 4 “ fan 200 cfm and carbon filter worked great! I had a bit of negative air pressure sucking the the sidewalls in slightly, on the tent, from the inside. No odors coming out.. Will a 4 “ combo still be adequate for a larger 3x3 tent, or do I need to step up to a 6” fan filter combo? Also where is a good source for lightweight oscillating fans for better air movement online please? Thanks.

I’ve been thru several cheap fans. I ended up purchasing two of the AC Infinity oscillating pole fans about 6 weeks ago. Very nice quality….I’m impressed. They’re not cheap relative to the other fans, but they’re actually designed for growing environments. As mentioned above, there are online coupons to be found, at least I saw one from a YouTube reviewer today. (bassdropkeys for 10% off).

As far as venting a 3x3, my original grow tent kit came with a 4 inch exhaust kit. 6 would be better, but 4 should work. You’ll be running it at a higher speed, so you may notice more noise from the fan motor than you would with a 6 inch fan dialed back on speed.
