Hey there, i've done a cfl grow in the past and have been working on upgrading after seeing the yield output. After even more research i've decided to go hydro and HID.
Proposed set-up: -600w lumatek ballast 120-240v, magnum xxxl hood, horitlux bulb(found a really good deal)
- growlab 120 tent
- 235 cfm inline for cooltube ducts
-400+ cfm active air blower w/ phresh filter
-ocilating fans(2x), wall mounted
-considering getting a small cloner tub made diy style, and also using it as a veg space with a cheap 400w set up to make it perpetual, depends how much this all is initially.
Now, what my question is. IF i'm planning on running a scrog set-up, to use the wholeee 4x4 space provided would it be better to use a 3x3 ebb n flow tray or do 6 seperate 5 gallon buckets w/ DWC(doing diff strains so a rubbermaid may be out of the question for now). I'm not going to get into the whole argument over which hydro method is better because i'm just wondering which would be more beneficial for scrog.
Also, could anybody suggest a line of nutrients for me? i like GeneralHydroponics and GO so far, was considering maybe using them in combination.
