Questions regarding transplanting and nutes

My seedlings were in 16oz cups for a little over 3 weeks in FF Light Warrior. Transplanted to FF OF/HF/perlite mix in 1g smart pots. They've been in the 1g pots for about a week and growing great. I haven't added any nutes up to this point, other than a 1/4 dose of cal/mag in their last watering. Plants are looking perfect.

1) When should I transplant from 1g to 5g smart pots? Is the timeline usually dictated by size of plant or time in pot?

2) If they have more than a couple more weeks in the 1g pots, I was going to start them at 1/4 FF soil nutes every other watering...right?

3) And, lastly, after the switch from 1g to 5g, should I add no nutes for another 3 weeks due to the additional fresh soil? Or keep them at 1/4 nutes every other watering and gradually increase?

You seem on track. If you transplant into a medium that has nutes, you won't have to feed right away. My advise would be don't use a feeding schedule, just read the plants. If you're seeing signs of under feeding then feed them.

He sounds like he has a little bit of knowledge, or he probably wouldn't have added 1/4 strength calmag like a boss (that's advanced stuff right there, not even joking, if it was noobish it would have been 2x strength just because )

Schedules just suck because if you follow them you can over feed so easily, 8/10.

you have no pics so i cant tell how big they are but this i know if you have transplanted once already ,your intention is to go to 5 gallon pot ,do it now .if you are using fox farm ocean and happy frog you will not need nutrient for at the least a month ,the calmag is good espacaily if you are using RO water to feed if your using tap water put calmag when needed .after transplant dont freak out if they seem to slow down it is just focused on root development and will pickup in a week or so ,i hope this helps ,i use same soil and same plan as you so good luck
