Hi, my plant was showing signs of mag/calcium deficiency so have just got some tnc cal-mag, i was thinking i just added it to my usual biobizz nutes as stated at 2ml per L, but it says " apply as a substrate drench for soil grows"? Anyone tell me wth a substrate drench is please or how to apply calmag in general? Thanks

Substrate drench is dipping your medium into a larger container of water and thus simply "drenching it".
Not sure.. I always thought cal-mag was just added to water and fed to the plants regularly, not drenched.
I would just mix with water and pour through medium.
Let's see other peoples responses first though!

Just mix cal/mag in with water or with nutes. At what strength should depend on how many ppm's your water has. Low ppm's you need it more, high you don't need it at all usually. I always add epsom salt to a feeding at between 1-2 tsp per gallon once in early-mid veg and once in early flower to help with the mag issues as cal/mag doesn't always work for that. As long as PH is in safe soil range 6.2-6.8, 6.5 being ideal, you shouldn't have lockouts due to PH so it's easier to distinguish issues when and if they happen.
