Quick Dry - Not Bad. . . . .

So I decided to take off a couple sample buds off one of my girls to test the potency. It's pretty potent right now, I'm actually debating whether or not I should chop them. So anyway, I decided to fast track the process and dry them via a hairdryer. Let me state off the bat - it tasted like shit - but the throat hit wasn't bad only coughed once and the high is amazing - I'm a high tolerance smoker on average 1/2 oz. per week of premo bud. The first pic is the top cola on the plant I didn't touch. The other two are bottom buds off the weaker of the two plants - trimmed .

I would let them go longer. It looks like they need at least 3 more weeks.

Really? you think? They are a 6-8 flower type and are starting week 7.

If it's potent now, imagine how good it will be if you let it finish. I believe that the flowering times given by breeders are what they get under absolutely perfect conditions, and after working with the same strains over and over and over again, which is something that I doubt most hobby home growers have the luxury of. I think it's safe to say you could tack an extra week or two onto what the breeder says it will be.

I know you guys are going to rag on me but I harvested my girls today and the pics are from two days ago. I got my pocket microscope today and found trichomes 75% cloudy 20% amber and 5% clear (if even that much but i did find a few clear). I'll post the weight and pics in a bit.

Cost yourself a lot of weight by not letting it finish.

ahahaha like I said - no not really, they both ended up dwarfs with one cola each and I'm lucky they made it that far by how much I fucked up prior to flowering - 44 grams wet is not too bad for one and a half 10" plants . . . . . . . not too sure how such small plants could produce much more and further to my point the trichomes don't lie any longer and I'd pass the high I'm looking for.

No worries man, if it gets you high that's what matters.... but i'm telling you 2-3 weeks too early. There is no point checking trichomes before the plant starts to swell and pistils recede. Trichomes do lie.

IDK but it's only my first grow and I'll definitely be flowering longer next time but either way - Dark Angel from Crop King

I stressed the shit out of these girls during my learning curve hence their very small size - root structure was tiny like threads, would take 5-8 days between watering and that was only 1.5L or almost half a gallon at a time. Anyway, I plan on doing a proper SCROG with my next grow but I need some serious mods to my grow room, carbon filter being number 1.

Yeah carbon filters are definitely important, I did my first grow without one and realized quick lol

Hey man, if you finish your first grow with bud it's a success. Just gets better from here.
