Hey guys idk if this is a big deal or not but i spent the night at my brothers house and while i was gone my power went out and my plant was in darkness for about 24hrs . When i got home there was a CRAZY amount of new growth on my plant, when i left she had 8 nodes and now she still has 8 nodes but she has started to grow 6 more . She is only about 3 weeks old im just worried that she might have started to flower because of the extended dark period . I might just be overreacting but just to be sure i figured id ask the pros :) thanks guys

I would just put it straight back on the cycle it was on. Should be fine...
Alright will do :) just to be safe to put her on a 24hr cycle for the lack of light the past day . Also im going to transplant her when i wake up in the AM any tips so i dont shock her ? From what ive read i should dampen the soil first then put her in the new pot and bury some of the stem so it will make new roots . Should i water after i put her in the new pot ?

If you wet the soil before you transplant I would not water for a while. (assuming the soil the plant is in is wet also when you move it) As for not shocking her I would try and disturb the roots ball as little as possible - I wouldn't put her back to 24 but that's up to you - I would just put her on the cycle she was on before the light went out. Good luck...

Even if a week into flower you decided you wanted to let them veg more, you could put them back on the 24 hr cycle and they would stop flowering. No biggie:)

Everyone transplants different. I wait til the pot is dry . I squeeze the sides in to be able to get the root ball lose and ready to come out . Once it's out I gently rub the bottom roots and and break the soil and roots up and maybe a quarter to half inch disturbance to promote new root growth down into new soil . Works for me everytime .

^^^ good advice^^^

That is pretty much exactly how I do it.
I find that a dry transplant is much easier with less risk of disturbing the rootball. I water after i transplant.

I have a transplant tip: Don't be scared, you really have to rough them up during the transplant to cause any type of shock. I have never experienced tansplant shock in all my years of growing-usually it's the opposite, plants have a growth spurt right after the transplant.

Okay so i transplanted her today and i hope i didnt fuck up when i took her out most of the dirt fell off and like 40% of the roots with it . She is 2 weeks old today she is about 7-8 inches tall now and has 16 nodes growing at the moment . But only 6 are big nodes the others are new growth . I just want to know if she is okay since she lost like 40% of her roots she is extremely healthy at the moment but im waiting for till the morning to see if she shows signs of anything . Any opinions ?
