Hey What up fellow growers,
Beginner Grower here(1year) I have used auto flowering seeds for some time but im running out. I have feminized seeds that would need the different light structure.

I have 6 plants going right now all autoflowering-widow,hulk,GirlScouts,Gorilla, They are about 3 weeks to 1 month in,still babies for the most part.I wanted to grow 4-6 plants but those seeds wont be auto flowering. I understand i have to change the light schedule to start the flowering process on the feminized seeds. These plants have to be in the same room,a bedroom-1/4th of the space in the room is where i have everything set up,so i cant moveto other side of room. 1 light is in the middle of the 2 1/2 feet it covers and then the other light is centered in the 3x3 space that light covers to maximize grow space, both side by side. Is it possible that when the Feminized seeds need to start the flowering process,I can switch both lights to the 12&12 and not really affect the auto flowering plants that would be a month ahead on the 18 hour schedule?
If it will hurt the plants does anybody have any suggestions for what i can do to have one light on for the 18 hours(i do 18 instead of 24 bc its my bedroom) and the other on for 12,Has anybody done this before, I cant really put a solid divider between the two lights because i tried that early in my grow history&it caused air circulation mildew problems.Maybe some sort of screening between the two?Should i just drape some thin plastic or sheet over top of the plants to keep the light from the other plants from interfering? I ask bc i am worried that my one light may mess with the other sides plant even though its out of the range.
