Alright I have been buying and smoking bud for about 2 years now and around my area people either have "mids, kb, or headies." My question is does anyone have any definitive answer on what kb or kind bud is and how its grown lol. I have grown and I am under the impression that mids is heavily pollinated bud hence the low thc and seeds. And I know what heads are cuz thats what I'm growing lol:mrgreen: so yeah anybody know what kb is and how its grown? The only thing I can think of is that its bud that wasn't cured well which explains why it smells like tea

Kind bud is just street slang for properly grown, properly cured sensimillia (no seeds) bud

applies to any/all strains

Somehow, your "Peeps" got it backwards. Kind bud is "the good shit!". It started with the locals in Hawaii, they had an expression "da' kine", it was just mispronounced English for "the kind". As the expression "da' kine" caught on, it took on the implied meaning of "Hell yeah, Bruddah, that's "da' kine" (the kind) I'm talkin' about!". "Da' kine" just caught on as a general reponce to anything that was considered excellant or "top notch". "Da' kine" literally means "primo" and it is applicable to waves, hamburgers, bikinis or anything else.

If you're talking about cannabis buds, it's easy to see how "Da' kine buds" became "the kind buds" to tourists who took the phrase back to the Mainland in the sixties. I know because I was there!
