Hey guys,

Im currently living in Oklahoma. I am not yet 18, by a few months, but for as long as I can remember, since at least I was five, I get random pains in my legs. Like, it usually starts out in one spot and slowly will basically "engulf" my entire leg. When I was little the doctors told my gaurdian that it was normal growing pains. In my early teens, they said the same thing. But now, they really haven't been able to say anything...

Also, I suffer from horrible insomnia, also a long history of. I've currently been awake for 23 hours, and barely tired. I usually won't feel like I need to sleep until I go without sleep for over 30. And by that point, I usually am afraid to go to sleep as I might sleep to long.

I plan on moving to Cali once my boyfriend turns 18. When 18, would a dr. in Cali give me a recomendation? It is only the literally thing that has helped with either problems, I've even tried prescription sleep pills for the insomnia, I slept 3 hours and was awake for an additional 20.

Also, what are some decent parts of Cali? I need somewhere cheap, but I can't stand small towns...

Thank Y'all,

rayne

you will definatly need medical records and about $100, unless you find a real shady doc. then you just need the cash. cali is not cheap at all, if you dont want to live in a small town anyways. . i pay $1000 a month for a one bedroom condo in san diego, that seems like a lot to me, then you have water/gas/electric/cable ect. . you can obviously find places for $700-850 a month, but more than likely its pretty ghetto, or if $1000 isnt a lot for you, you can obviously find places a little more pricey.. you could always try to find roommates, and rent a house or apt together. . that will save you money, but maybe not the headache. . theres nothing like having your own place. .

Rayne, I went through the same thing when I was little with the leg pains and since the age of 5. Docs told me the same thing - growing pains. Well, I'm done growing for years now and still get the pains.
Long story short, I found my problem is arthritis. Not saying yours is too, but could be something to check into. We normally think it hits the elderly and not the young.
Careful the prescripts the doc gives you for the pain too. They gave me Quinine and now there are BIG law suits against it.

MMj definitely helps the pain and insomnia and you shouldn't have a problem finding a doc in Cali to help. Like others have said here, get copies of your med records and bring them with you, it will make the process easier.

Inland Empire has fair prices on rentals and houses for sale.
The newspaper there is called The Sun or sbsun.com. It will give you a good idea on the area.

Best wishes your way!

You wont need to bring medical records. The dr. will take your word for it, trust me. All of southern california is pretty expensive. You basically have ot live in a shit hole for affordable housing. Like I use to live in pico rivera, it was 600 a month for an apt., but you get pulled over for walking down the street and theres tweakers everywhere. Now I share a 3 bed house in the san fernando valley for 2100

not ANY doc will write it, make sure you have medical records. . like i said, some shady docs will, and some docs care about their practice and want to be covered if you ever get busted, so they make sure you have them.
