Is there a write up of all the equipment needed to make a hydro setup? like a bubbler setup or drip... i look at all these hydro kits.. and they look so simple to make... is there ANY write up of how to make one at home or what is actually needed?? I want to make one my self.

Thanks in advance!

Man... Cant i just get a 10 galon tank... put a air pump inside and get a special thing from a fish store that lets out a bunch of air.. and fill it up with some water... Nute it.. and grow? isnt that basically what a bubbler is?

youll also need a net pot and some hydroton or little rocks......

but thats exactly what a bubbler is...... for the first week or 2, youll need to hand water it until the roots grow into the water...... also make sure then tank is dark and no light gets into the resevoir

You can clone your soil plants and put the clones in rockwool and use the clones once they are rooted in the hydro set up.:peace:

just curious... its said that a plant wont survive when u transplant from soil to Hydro in the use of hydroton balls. well then cant i just cut the main stem? and act as if i am cloning? i know its stupid... but if you can clone with that method i dont see how a from soil to like a hydro bubbler in hydrotons could hurt? somone plz give me some info.

I haven't done it but it sounds essentially like the same thing.. However, if the plant is too big I can imagine maybe some of the plant will be hurt/suffer because of the strong lack of nutrient absorption.

I like this setup, I am doing a soil grow in the upcoming weeks (awaiting the seeds) but this seems like a much cleaner and easier way of doing it.. id like to to read a DIY Tutorial with your step by step contruction. Also, how much was everything to purchase for the bubbler (not including nutes/pots/lights).

THanks and good luck, looks awesome man.
