So I water with a small water pump, my Rez is just a 5gal bucket. Does leaving the pump in 24/7 cause any harm ? Or should that not be done ?
 
the pump is built to run continuously ...wet, extract and check the pump at each rez clean at least one time per week, junk can clog the impellers
 
If you bought a submersible pump...that is the point....it is built to be submerged in water.

My pump goes in the water and stays in the water for the entire grow. Only gets a lil dry at res change.
