How important is "fresh Air" in my grow room? I have an 8x8 grow room that is very well sealed. I have a 1000 watt light. I also have a 38 special 75 can filter with a 6" fan filtering the room. The air in the room is filtered through the can filter...the fan sits on top of the canister and pushes the air through my light and then out of the room. I have an oscillating fan for circulation, but no fresh air coming in. My temps are right around 70 degrees...Humidity 45 to 55%. Will bringing "fresh Air" in benefit my plants or am I ok with out it?:weed:

Fresh air is essential, plants consume CO2 which must be replaced. If your fan is pushing air out, then it must be coming in from somewhere, unless you've created a vacuum. That would be REALLY bad for your plants. Get fresh air.

you need fresh air comming into your grow room. plants thrive on co2. after a wile they will use up what is in your room. you open your windows to let in fres air for you don't you? do the same for your plants.

I do have one of those CO2 bucket system, that I run every 2 hours for a half hour. I also check on them often and let the door remain open to air it out. You think that is enough? The room I built is in my basement, I was thinking of just bringing in air from the basement rather then from the outside. I'm worried about bringing too hot of air in in the summer and too cold of air in in the winter. Do you think just air from the basement is enough or should I say screw it and not worry about it. Like I said my temps and Humidity is good.
