Quick Question

Hi guys, Just got a quick question.

If I decided to LST my plants, which will be real soon, should I also top them or does LST work on It's own?

I like the idea of LST them, but don't really want to top them also.

Or should I just forget about LST and go ahead and just top them or use a smiler method such as FIM or Uncle Ben's (Would Uncle Ben's topping technique be classified as topping? Anyways not important.)

Thanks for any help/replies.

Its really up to you but both techniques work well and you can do both.. "Thats what I've been doing and its working out great!" Yes uncle bens topping is exactly how I learned and don't stress it, its really easy..

Anyway I would probably recommend trying some light lst your first time around or just go ahead and top.. The choice is yours, everyone has there own opinion but i top all my plants at least once now..

the two go well together, but what you should do really depends on the situation and what you are looking for :)

depends on what you are trying to accomplish, topping is usually always a good idea, if done correctly and at the right time. if you go ahead and lst, do it gradually and increase over time.

Hey guys thanks for the replies.

Basically I'm just looking to get a bit of extra yield from my ladies. I'm pretty sure I know how to do the techniques, I've been reading up on it (a lot.)

One thing I am a little unsure of is when to top them, I'm favoring towards just above the second true node. Currently my ladies have 3 sets of true leaves with their 4th coming through.

Is this the best time to do it? I beleive so from everything I've read.
