quick sex question!

Ok i know the difference between male and female but i just wanted to know if this was even a preflower? my (hopeful) girls are a very small and a little stunted due to the horrible soil i started them in so theres a few dead leaves but the new growth is just fine since i changed soil so could this be them showing sex? also in the pics of my plants there are little shiny dots on the leaves what are these!? Help would be awesome!

No i don't think they're preflowers, as dam612 said, the plant is too small anyway. those 4 long things that stick out of the nodes are on males and females.

I think what your seeing is just new growth starting up. I thought that was a preflower when I first started up and got really excited lol.
