Quick, stupid question about blender hash

I was going to try the blender hash method in the faq next week, but have one question.

Will I be able to get rid of any staining or smell in the blender? The reason I ask is that my wife has a fairly expensive blender, and she would be REALLY pissed if I dyed it green or made it smell.

I'd appreciate hearing from anyone that has used this method.

I've done it and dont have any stains or smell. My blender is glass.

I did a little more searching and saw that their are a couple different ways to do it. I should probably specify that I'm using the alcohol method, I'm not quite sure how the water method is supposed to extract thc.

The water method uses ice to freeze the THC crystals and the blender removes them from the plant material.
After settling the thc crystals sink to the bottom so you can then pour off the liquid leaving only the resin.
This is then dried and can be compressed into hash.
