Quick Tiger Bloom ?

So everytime i add 1/3 dose of TB's rec str to my gallon of water which is at 6.5 it lowers the ballsack out of my ph (below 5, which from what ive read TB will do that) but i end up having to use like 30 drops of ph up to get it back up to 6.5, i know drops are bad to use with ferts which is why i ordered a digital ph tester, i was just curious why it takes so much ph up. Thanks!

What does your tap water read after you let it sit overnight?

I use RO water from the store! i add calmg also, usually its right about 6.5-7.0 before nutes, ive never really let the RO water sit over night also, i stopped using my tap water after i completely raped an auto, and ive never had a problem using the RO water right after i get it.

I bet you, if you stop paying the store for clean water that you have to put shit back into, just use tap water after letting it sit out for 24 hrs. unless it has Chloramine instead of Chlorine, (then use it right away unless you have extra space to use up) and check it, you'll be between 7.5 and 7.9, and save yourself money on water AND PH UP.
A lot of people use tap water or rain water and have great growing plants.
I'm not saying you're wrong, but I hate seeing people that have only read, not done, and seen people with a lot of extra time and money, in different circumstances, or don't know what they're doing that pay for shit to be removed from their water, then pay to put shit back in the water, and don't get the ratio quite right, and fucks up their plants.
I'm sorry, but I am from the old school method..........
Try the free shit, and pay what you have to from there to get what you want.

My city uses Chloramine in the water, thats why i think i stopped using it because ive tried the method before. never really had bad results with how im doing things on how i water and what i add, i've learned MY WAYS which have been pretty successful considering ive had to learn alot of shit on my own, trial and error method over the years, i just look to the community for a few answers which sometimes gets a little off topic like we have here, i was just asking a simple question on why it takes so much ph up when ph testing with the drops. The tester isn't going to have any effect on how much ph up you will have to use. It's just a tester.

I use the drops. I've never heard that you souldn't use it with nutes. Mine are made by General Hydroponics and even if yours are not.. ph is ph.

You'll have to use whatever you have to use to raise it. The concentrate (I'm assuming) is simply acidic. I've use fox farm nutes before but never tested the ph after adding just tiger bloom alone. I added what is it? Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom to the water then adjusted the ph.

I also use GH ph kit, im just saying after i calmg the water, ill ph test it which it sits about 6.5-7.0 BUT then when i added 1/3 teaspoon of TB, i re-tested the ph and it was below 5, so i added about 30 drops which brought it up to the 6.5 mark again, im just asking is using that much ph up bad?

WAS IF IT WAS BAD IF I USED A BALLS LOAD OF PH UP WITH TIGER BLOOM {SINCE IT LOWERS PH LIKE CRAZY}~(ONLY IF YOUR USING PH LIQUID DROP KIT) FROM THE RESPONSE MY GIRL GAVE ME, IM NOT SAYING IM 100% CORRECT BUT IT SEEMS OK TO USE THAT MUCH PH UP TO GET BACK UP TO 6.5 RANGE, NOTE THIS IS ONLY FOR PPL USING THE PH LIQUID DROPS! HOPEFULLY THIS CAN HELP OTHERS WITH THIS SAME QUESTION AND IVE SEEN IT ASKED ON OTHER FORUMS BUT WASNT A DIRECT ANSWER GIVEN! CHEERS!
