Whenever job hunting time comes around I have to go through the pain in the ass of trying to get THC out of my system, I decided to take a risk on Quick Fix 5.7-1 synthetic urine (newest formula?). Worked like a charm a confirmed three times at Labcorp in the last 3 months. Just warmed it up and did my best to get to the clinic to give a sample within tolerance. I would definitely advise using a cheap oral thermometer to give you a more accurate temp. Warmed up my sample for 20 seconds (a little over the recommended time) and checked the temp. When it got down to about 102-105*F I hopped in the car and drove the 10 minutes to test- used one of those ipad arm bands around my thigh with the heating pad on it. When I got there I had a friend check the line in the waiting room. I also checked the temp of the mixture with the cheap digital oral thermometer, waited until it was around 98.5-99.4 degrees and then headed in. All three times the wait was less than 15 minutes, gave my sample to the line on the cup unobserved and then left.
Some things that I'd recommend:
- Make sure it's the newest version with uric acid. I'd recommend only ordering from the manufacturer just to be safe.
- Don't rely on the crappy strip on the outside for temps, use a cheap digital thermometer.
- Shake it before taking temps and before giving the sample.
- Get more than you anticipate needing (bigger bottle just in case).
- Unscrew the cap and pour it in the specimen cup, that special second cap that sprays out makes a lot of noise.
Oh, if possible make small talk with the person handling your sample. Try to get them thinking about something other than your sample (football, politics, family life, their job, etc.) without it being obvious and you should be golden- it worked for me.
