Quiet circulation fan recommendations

As the title suggests, I'm looking for a quieter circulation fan for inside my tent.

Are tower fans quieter than standard desk fans? I have read that this is so, but looking for someone with real world experience. I guess a tower fan is also better in terms of it having greater vertical reach than the short, stubby desk fan I have.

I like the Honeywell 8 inch super tech (model HT900C) which says on the box "25% less power".

There is a cheaper model (HT 809), looks the same but it's louder and consumes more energy

I have a 7" desk fan and its louder than the 16 and 18" osallating fans..no messing noisey little things..

I use two of these: http://www.hurricane-fans.com/products/clip-fan-6.aspx they make less noise than the exhaust so I don't reall hear them.

I have a clip fan in there, but I can't clip it to anything because it seems to resonate through the whole damn house! The pots and waste trays seem to act as amplifiers for it. I currently have it sat on a block of celotex pointing upwards.

I have a cheap 20 dollars fcking pedastool fan its quiet as a fan blowin can be it a 20 in and I put on lvl 1 any higher and my light swings lol the motor is whisper quite but all fans make noise man
