Perfect response ganjababy. Stash, I would suggest you save your money and read a lot. And then read some more. Then maybe you could try growing.

lol.. FYI 1500 lumens is less the a 42w cfl.. just get a HPS those halogen would be hotter and grow nothing useful.

no they will work just as good as 4-8 foot flouresents i used two 500 watt halogens and they seemed to grow good and strong i never tried flowering with them though

i've lit cigs off the bulbs from 500 watt halogens that i use for work at night. definatly a no go for growing and if you really think you can grow with them i hope you have fire insurance.
