Racism

I am a Mexican.

Recently on this very forum, someone decided to make racist comments
towards non whites. I took offence.

He decided to dig into my families past, my dad killed recently, he used this
as a tool to get to me.... Not good.

I'm pretty bothered by this though.... Name calling, okay, racists stuff? No.
Making fun of me because of that? Wrong.

Thoughts on this?

Its part of the shit u have to deal with on the forums or in life itself... you can report him and hope the admin takes action or leave the forums (but its gonna happen wherever u r).... Not sure if u can block individuals on here or not...

you can block pm and instant message but not in open posts.

For one, marijuana sites are to help people grow great medicine for self medicating. Some do it for social reasons, thats fine too. Your a very depressed individual, I have seen your sadness on other forums, mexican or not. I am a very white American and have and even whiter ass. People call me a redneck with a farmer john tan. I live in an area no where near being a redneck. In this world we live with many ignorant people, in your case you were hurt by an ignorant uncompassinate person. Fuck them. Excuse my type. Self pity is our own destructive demise, we can only be effected by what people say if we let it, or in other cases we are upset with something about ourselves or our lives. So all I can say is forget what others say to hurt and smoke a bowl of that good bud alright?

Now done with the call in show, I'm bout to smoke a big old bong bowl. Anyone wanna join me?

Digging up anything personal and using against someone is just wrong in general.

But, this is the internet, expecting anyone to use commonsense and courtesy with other human beings, well that usually doesn't happen.

And, unfortunately, this thread will probably only grab the attention of trolls.....

Not sure I've ever had to deal with that kind of shit on the forums.

The report post link is next to the star (for reputation) at the bottom of a post, it is the triangle with the ! in the center. An admin will be notified of the content via e-mail I believe.

Participants who witness racism are much less willing to pay the emotional cost of confronting a racist comment than they think they will be overall.
This in turn means the racist pays less of a cost in social ostracism by expressing said bias than the stigmata society imposes on such matters would suggest they should.
Tis a vicious circle.

Overall for me, it just represents how far humanity has to go....we are only as good as our weakest parts after all...
doesn't make me mad per say....more like sad....

i couldnt agree more myself...its the shit you gotta deal with on the internet in general...not just these forums/websites...but on the flip side of that, i believe everyone is entitled to there opinion about whatever...thats one of the few benefits we have living in the usa...freedom of speech...so i feel for the OP, but at the same time i dont fault the dude for expressing his beliefs....ganja

But now I am at peace. Just let it roll right off of you. It only becomes reality if you let it in your mind.

Sorry for your loss but was the whole choke you / stand on your neck bit necessary..?

Ok one of the issues of depression is enabling. I suffered from a depression that nearly killed me and what made it worse was sitting and talking about it. Lets not commit anymore to this mans suffering. Lets offer a suggestion of finding professional help.
