Rain makes a difference... duh!

Just yesterday none of my four Burmese Orange plants was tall enough to touch the wire that I plan to use for manifolding. Today after a rain, all four are up to the wire.

I like the wire. I use grapevines like that in the bush when it works out.

If you can get to it in time to edit, it's easy to go back in and remove the extras.

If nothing else, I am hoping the wire will keep the plants from "lodging" or getting knocked over by wind or wildlife, which happened last year. I never found out for certain what was doing that.
