rain water??? anyone use it?

i'm located in fla. and course we get alot of rain!! is their any benifits of using rain water? i heard that rain water had some micronutes?? i collected 4 gals already today!!





YESTERDAY IS HISTORY!
TOMORROWS A MYSTERY!
TODAY IS A GIFT!
THAT'S WHY THEY CALL IT THE PRESENT!!!! :joint:

I am very unsure as to what micronutrients you might get from rainfall, but it's usually fairly clean (at least after the first hour or so, if it's a good rain), no need to dechlor and it's just a hell of a lot more economical. I gather it when I can, but we need to get a cistern or something like that so we can gather the large quantities during winter.

Well no matter what when it rains you're water will get water from it so if you are doing a outdoor grow there is no way to avoid it.

all depends on really the region your living in, and since your in florida, i would assume the water from the clouds would be good, but new york city rain water and LA or michigan rain water i would assume not truly the best but definately still efficient and all that, just probably not the very best rain water to use, think of how the cycle works all that inner city pollution the best rain water would come from the forest areas

cool, all of fla. seems to be in the blue!! i was more skeptical about the salinity level than pollutants. i just tested the ph of some that i collected today ph was 6 , zero hardness, and zero alkalinity. beats distilled water from wally-world

I havent used it But a buddy does and his plants look great. huge buds and really really big fan leaves. They are bigger than my head.

that is slightly acidic 7.0 is neutrul. i am in southern wisconsin my rain water ph is 5.5 or so, i use to collect but it is easier for me to use tap, less ph up especially after adding nutes
