rain water for perfect ph!

hi all im new to growing and i heard that rain water has good ph to grow plants am i correct?
i currently have 2 litres of it collected and waz wondering if i should water my 4 day old plant with that instead of tap water,btw i live in the uk..
the rain water is around 5ph and tap water is 6ph from what uk420 said.

the ph of rainwater varies according to your location.
im thinking it would be slighty aciditic tho... somewhere n the 4-5 range

In most cases rain water is better for your plant then tap water, reason being is rain water has a lower PPM then tap water. The PH is also usually better, in my area its about 7.0 PH and 20'ish PPM, I like my PH around 6.5 so I adjust the PH a bit. If you do intend on using rain water might wanna start saving up alot plants get thirsty later on in life :blsmoke:
