RDWC droopy seedling, top fed

Hey guys, new to the site here but I’ve been reading for a while. I have 4 feminized cookie Kush girls that I just transplanted to 5 gallon buckets with 8” net pots. I have a 40 gallon res and they are just feeding from tap water, grotek kick start and a few drops of Superthrive. They were stressed a little from the transplant but 3 are doing good and one is droppy and looks burnt. My ph is around 5.9-6.2 with ppm at 390. I can post pics when I’m home. Why would one plant be droppy and not the rest? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

How old are they? Pics will help.

I can tell you that drooping is most commonly associated with over and under feeding. What might be happening is the water may not be getting to the plant that's drooping. When they're small, you have to hand-water them from the top, to get water to the roots. The bubbles from a dwc doesn't get to the top-most layers of Hydroton, where the young roots are. The roots will find their way to the DWC water pretty quickly, so you wouldn't have to water for long.

Also, depending how young they are, 390ppm may be too high. I usually hit 400ppm between two and three weeks into veg.

What's your base TDS out of the tap, if that's what you're using. You need to account for this when measuring the nutrients TDS. If your tap is 90ppm, then 300ppm would be the nutes, using your 390ppm for example.
 
He said his PPM/TDS already. 390. You might just be experiencing a bit of shock. It will either make it or die. If the other plants are all sharing the same nute mix and are healthy, not much you could do to fix it anyways unless you pull that plants lid and drop the roots into a separate single 5gal bucket with its own nutes. Plus you shouldn't really use super thrive in hydro.
 
They are two weeks from seed. My base water is 120 ppm out of the tap. Oh weird the guy at the hydro store said super thrive could take the shock off. I also forgot to state that they are top fed from a flood tray. I’ll definitely post pics when I’m home.

Okay, so 270ppm (390 - 120) is still a little high. I'd say around 150ppm (270ppm total).
 
Here they are, the last pic is the droopy one. I know they look a little burnt that was my bad. My humidity jumped one night and I thought I saw white powdery mildew on them so I sprayed them with a weak baking soda solution but it seemed to burn them. Would that have stunted them? I also put one of the normal looking ones to compare it is the second image

Bro they’re just flat out too small for the system right now. I run my seedlings in 3oz mouthwash cups with coco and fill it with roots then when it’s bigger, take it out, knock off excess coco, and bury the rootball in a net pot with hydroton. 3 days later, this.CAA1BDCA-FB3E-47FA-B18D-88AC7DD5A1A6.jpegD19FF0A4-07CE-4F2E-9D7C-1ECF2253998F.jpeg
 
Damn that sucks, I really thought they would make it through that. Should I just restart? It would suck because those seeds were pricey
 
Dump your rez and just use plain tap water til you get another set of leaves, then add a weak nutrient solution til you have at least 3 sets of nice true leaves. Seedlings get their nutrients from the cotyledons at first. Then you are good to go. No need to restart, they will pull through just baby them for a few days.
 
Dawg, just pull them out the system and hand DUNK the whole netpot, I mean like submerse it all to the very base of the stem really quick, twice a day to water them. THe riots need more air and a reason to grow. The problem when they’re that young is they get content with so much water and just stop growing. Roots gotta search outnthat waternat first. If you do fail after trying this, do what I do and use coco and a small 3-6oz cup(depending on net pot sizzle. Mine were 3” so I had to go teeny tiny) of coco to start hem in. Cut 3 slits in the bottom for drainage.
 
Are they in a rooting cube? Pretty sure your only issue is over watering. You could also lower ph imo but that’s not killing them. Try cutting water cycles to twice a day would be my suggestion. Pretty much anytime you see that blotching on seedlings it’s over watering. As for the EC/ppm you could lower it but again that’s not the issue.

Or just leave them in the system and water less till roots are established
