re-veg

hi everyone, i know we've all seen something about re vegging plants............so my question is, how do i go about pruning,thining, this monstrosity?

thank you for your response. for sure on the airflow/light.just keeping up with that has become a daily routine. a couple of years ago i had to deal with this.all i did was keep it open but not much else.the end result was alot of buds but very airy and light. there are sooo many shoots coming out now i thought it might be more than the plant can produce come bud time ie; fewer shoots might equal tighter buds?
