Re-vegging

I have a question for any experienced grower out there. Will a plant grow to its original height if you put it back into vegging? (accidentally exposed small plants to too much dark and now my plants are just beginning to show gender in a small state.

from whayt your saying, you accidently put your plants into flower mode.
if yes, then thats what some growers do to sex there plants before they waste valuable light on any males. so your only growing females.

its a form of super cropping.

That's golden information there. At what age do they usually do that and how many days would it take to see the sex before you can flip it back? That would save tons of time and money.
And just to make sure I'm understanding you correctly. You're saying they can flip it to a 12 and 12 to see the sex then flip it back to a 18 and 24 and keep vegging until they are ready to flower it?

Pre-flowers begin to develop four weeks into growth, but they may take a little longer depending on how quickly the sprouting phase occurs. By the sixth week, you should be able to find the pre-flowers and confidently determine the sex of your plant.

when i started doing asea of green, i would sprout a pack of seeds, grow then untill they showed sex, remove the males and then continue on with the growing and then flower, it got a bit croewded in there, but for the most part, i didnt have to tie buds up as they were self suporting. your hetting a single plant cola with a few side branches on each one

but yu can flower at an earlier age 12/12 to get the sex. you can 12/12 from seedling untill trhey show sex and then revert them into growth after.
also, after flowering you leave a few buds on the plant (lower buds), you can put a plant back into veg mode and grow it for a few weeks and then reflower the plant again

Yes and I do this all the time to monster crop my plants BUT you need to wait until they are sexually mature first. Wait until about week 7 from seed.
Should be noted that this sort of stunts them for a time. Vertical growth is delayed as the plants transition; their energy is focused on preflowering not veganic growth. This makes for bushy fat plants later on. You don’t need to go straight to 12/12 either. Most strains begin to show sex at 14/10 or 13/11. It takes a week to transition but what you want is for them to sort of straddle the line between veg and bloom. They can do both at the same time; outdoor growers do this with the suns natural cycle every season. The sun gradually changes light cycles which is why outdoor plants do not get that lanky stretch unless under shade. There are more than just two light cycles if you think outside of the box. Don’t be afraid to experiment

Spot on, done properly they don’t throw three-finger leaves and look like a bad haircut for a month.

All ya gotta do is keep posting/replying.

Usually get some weird growth here and there but the more gradually you transition the less stress you actually put on them. Sometimes those three toe or single blade leaves will be sticking out of the giant bud that grew around it come harvest time...
