Ready for harvest? Or 1 more week?

Hi everyone,

Just after some thoughts on whether you think these flowers look done.

It's northern lights, 9 weeks, day 63 of flower (since switch to 12/12)

Was planning on leaving them for 7 more days just to try and get every last bit from the plant. I have 4 plants in total. Only 3 shown in the pictures.

Excuse the yellow leaves. I've been watering without nutrients for around 10 days.

I'm fairly new to using a scope to looķ at my trichromes and struggle a bit. I have a 30x loop and there is a mix of mainly cloudy, clear and the odd amber here and there. Rough ratio of 80% cloudy, 15% clear and 5% amber.

Thanks!

i would say any-time from now to be honest, you could push them further also, entirely up to you, im sure others will be along soon to offer an opinion .

My preference is zero clear 40 % amber

They're ready now. My northern lights take exactly 8 weeks to finish always, I don't start counting flower till a week after flip. But no judging by the red hairs in your pic they are ready. When looking at the trichs as soon as you see amber is when I cut them.

Wow 40% amber I've heard of 20%. Do you find a more heavy high from waiting that long?

Thanks for all the replies and kind words.

Very tempted to harvest it tonight, but im going to be patient and resist for 6 more days.

Need to gain more experience observing trichrome development, so hopefully provide me with some good learning for the future.

Seeds are from a company called Seedstockers, if anyone was wondering. Thought I'd try them out as they are very cheap seeds. Don't seem too bad for the price. Probably try some more of their strains going foward.

All the best

Just an update

Chopped down on day 69. Managed to observe some nice amber trichromes with my scope in the end.

6.1oz from a 60cm x 60cm space, 250W dual spectrum HPS

Uploaded a couple of pictures before chopping.

Nice smoke. Piney and chemical/diesel scent. Seems to turn me into a complete retard this NL. Wondering into a room and completely forgetting what I was meant to be doing.

Peace out!

Happy toking!
