Hi all, as alot of you will know I'm a total newbie, tried my first plant as a trial run. Had loads of begginers mistakes .... Nute burn.... Took to many lea es of wen I should have left alone and then spider might 3 week ago which is alot better than before... Still a few there which I'm still treating every few days.... My question is do you think the top bud on the pics below is ready to come if as I have started to get light burn as leaves are curling up.on the tips..., "" "so yes I need to change the light for adjustable heights for my next crop,,,". All the rest of the pla t has started to come on at lower levels so I wondered if it was a good idea to take just the top bud of and leave the rest for a few more week IMG_20191006_162024.jpgIMG_20191006_162010.jpgIMG_20191006_161949.jpg

If you are out of weed? Sure
But it would be better to wait
Do you know you could actually break that main stem and tape it at a 90 degree angle to control your canopy ?

Which lights do you use and how far is the distance?
Been told its a 500 w.... But once this plants done I'm getting a total new set up
.. Proper gear..... The light is fixed so whilst the plant was below 12 inch it was fine but the plant has grown so its a out 4 inch from light that's why I'm worried.... Just not sure if the top bud could come of and leave rest to catch up.

Do you mean break it at the top to pull the bud away which is to close.... I take it the bud doesn't look just ready.

i´m a newbie too but i think 500w in a distance of 4 inch ain´t good for her. Try as Herb & Suds said and tape it down to an angle or even supercrop it if you dare
Not sure on how to do this, is it break the stem where the bud is to close and take it so the bud is not near the light.
