Show me whole plantHad an issue with bud rot. I have cut it out and have checked the trichomes with a microscope. I keep looking at images on google but it’s hard to tell. I think it’s good for the energetic high I want. What’s your opinion?
The trichomes on sugar leaves mature faster that those on the calyxs, and reading sugar leaves will give you a false reading or your buds maturityHi Gaz,
Leafy strain, hard to see the buds. I recently had a bud rot and I chose to harvest. It's really your call. You expecting wet weather this time of year? If so chop...but if weather looks good...hang in there a bit longer.
I just bought a little microscope and am finding it hard to get good pix. Set up the camera and clip a little frosty sugar leaf. Put it on white parer. Look at the edges to see full trichome. Yours look clear/cloudy with no amber.

Thanks meta...just got the camera and trying things out learning how to use it.The trichomes on sugar leaves mature faster that those on the calyxs, and reading sugar leaves will give you a false reading or your buds maturity
I’ve been cutting a sugar leaf so I’ll try a calyx maybe tomorrow. The trichomes on sugar leaves mature faster that those on the calyxs, and reading sugar leaves will give you a false reading or your buds maturity
Just curious about what strain that is? Interesting looking plant...and an early harvest is better then none.it’s warm with rain on and off for the next week or so. I’ll see if I start seeing more bud rot. Getting white powder on some leaves and bud rot on a few colas. So might have to cut it early
I believe it’s bluedream. I’m also growing ak-47Just curious about what strain that is? Interesting looking plant...and an early harvest is better then none.

Nice plant broView attachment 4397931 It’s dark right now.
ThanksHere's a nice thread I found about when the proper time is to harvest. But you gotta do what you gotta do to save your crop. Looks great though.
