Recently Transferred Seedling

Hi,

My seedlings are 3 weeks old, recently I transferred them (2) into larger pots, they've been in for 30 hours - however, one of them isn't looking too great, the leaves are drooping and the stalk is struggling to stay upright - although it has been very windy and it's been knocked around a bit. Prior to placing them outside, they've just been in a window sill in a seedling tray. Will they adjust to being outside? How does Seedling #1 look?

You transplanted them too early. Put them back on the window sill. Give the sad one some hormex or superthrive and keep your fingers crossed. good luck!

I agree ! Too early transfer ! You should check the roots in the soil before doing it ! The roots must be filling the pot : Just like that

And don't put them directly outside, go easy on it , 2 hours sun, 3 hours ... and so on !

Update:

Thanks guys, I realize now that the roots weren't really established enough for a transfer - lesson learned for next season!

As for the sad-looking plant, it's leaves have perked back up, I've put it back in the garage next to a large window, and it's doing fine once again.

Hopefully this may help anyone else having similar problems.
