Recovery from early flowering

In an excess of enthusiasm, I planted two clones (Frosting and Gelato) outside in Northern California in fabric 10-gallon pots on 4/20.

I knew they would probably flower prematurely, but I did it anyway.

And they have indeed flowered.

So now it's mid-June, and I'd expect them to be revegging. However, I've never done this before, so I don't know what to expect from the revegging process. Will the plants grow any taller? Will they develop new bud sites or only mature the existing ones three months from now? How much will this affect the eventual yield?

(Also, any advice on fimming or topping clones?)

It will take up to a month for it to snap out of it especially that developed into flowering stage. You will start to see single blade leaves for awhile once you see normal fan leaves you will know its back to vegging. Also you will see some crazy tight branching come out of the starting area as it tries to figure itself out. Ive read that buds can be airier but i believe its because of that little chaos. if you trim it up you should be fine. Ive never personally done it but thats the info I do have on it.

Thanks. Nice clear description. I am seeing what might be single-blade leaves starting up now. I'll continue letting nature take its course.
