Red light from power strip messing up my dark cycle?

Well I'm growing in a closet and I have a power strip in there where things like my lights, fan, etc are plugged into. During the dark cycle I've noticed that the red light on my power strip reflects off the aluminum foil walls and creates this red glow in there. Is this ok for the plant or should I move the power strip outside the closet?

I never had that problem but one thing to know is plants like red light as well as blue. If it's bright enough to reflect then it's probably not good.

I've yet to hear anyone explain why utter dark is necessary when nature doesn't provide it.

Same here, I mean eff the other night at 2am if was light enough to see down my whole street. The moon gives of a decent amount of light. Maybe it cause we have breed these things to be so accustomed to being in total darkeness. I have no idea though.

but to answer your question, I dont think so, I had 2 power strips in my grow with a red lights and all my babies have turned out OK

Good Luck
