So ive grown a couple of strains in the past, and wondered if anyone else has had red branch stems and stalk in veg, but when thrown into flower they turned green again. it almost appeared as though they had P deficiency, but everything seemed normal with leaves etc.. anyone ?

I've had red stems that went green in veg when nutes were adjusted so I don't think it has much to do with being in flower, but I could be wrong.

It can be nutes or genetics. Red is normally nutes. I've had them do that for various reasons including light stress and over watering.

Ph issues can cause it. It all boils back down to a nute issue.

I generally don't worry too much if the plant looks healthy over all.

It makes sense that when going to flower it cleared up if you used a bloom feed with higher P and K.

well at the time i was already adding higher bloom feed during veg to help correct it from what i remember.. so who knows i didnt document it.. figured nutes and root zone would be the number 1s. i suspect it was ph off by a little.
