Red Stems on a Durban???

Durban Poison Auto, 6 weeks from Germ, in "High Nutes" Vigro soil. been in the dirt for a maybe three weeks. Soil is very moisture retentive. I've only given it ~ 1 Liter of water, the soil seems to hold moisture a long time.

Is this bad? or is this a Durban trait? Seems to be most/all of the leaf stems. Leaves seem to be light green compared to my NFT White Widow's. I'm blasting it pretty hard with llight from a ~100 watt burple at ~10 inches.

I went in to the grow this morning and checked the Lil Durban. EEK! it is starting to droop and looks like I screwed the pooch with this soil. I'm thinking that this soil is way too moisture retentive. I'm not used to soil grows with weed, I usually use my NFT (Stinkbud Aeroponics) system and it's hard to over water in it.
I don't think that there is enough air available to the roots with this soil.
I watered the pot with a gal of water before I planted the seedling and went two weeks before I added 500 ml of water then added another 500 ml a couple of days ago. Now it looks very bad. I don't want to lose this plant. I don't have room in my small NFT system to put this plant in,my 2 White Widows are almost over whelming it as it is!

What should I cut the soil with to increase oxygen? HELP!!!

I did notice that from pix of another grow thread that other plants show red stems and no one seemed to think that that was a problem.

I've consistently have had red stems on all sorts of strains for 50 yrs.

The red stems shouldnt be an issue but the discoloration on the foliage could.

red stems on leaves is normal, if it goes into the stalks that can be phosphorous deficiency but it's hard to get there. Nitrogen and dry periods is what you need.

Thanks guys. The Lil' Durban is doing a bit better after I loosened the soil with a trowel this AM. It's still showing what I think is "Too Much Water", wrinkled leaves but is less droopy than this AM. I won't be able to do this again as the roots fill the pot but at least I now know that this is a problem in the soil and can make watering adjustment to only water when she shows signs of being too dry, hopefully.
If she's N poor ( yellowed leaves) do you all thisk I can add some GH Micro/Grow to the water in the future to boost the N %?
